Pre-diabetes / Hyperglycemia / Insulin resistance

These are terms you may have heard from your primary care provider when your body is having challenges managing your blood glucose levels.  It may be due to being overweight or obese, eating too many refined carbohydrates, your family history, or because you had gestational diabetes in the past. Constipation

When you can’t go as often as you’d like, sometimes it’s due to irritable bowel syndrome or sometimes it’s due to something else. Reducing or eliminating certain FODMAP foods help and sometimes that has no effect, but that’s a process that should be guided by a registered dietitian nutritionist like myself who is experienced in working with the FODMAP elimination phases and challenge phases.  Sometimes dealing with constipation is more related to you are not eating or other aspects of your lifestyle.
